Descript prices are per person. Vidova prices are per account. Vidova Creator includes 4K at 60 fps for $19 a month, or $190 a year.

Transcript editing or a timeline agent

Descript turns speech into a document. You cut the video by deleting words, and Underlord can remove filler words, retakes and pauses or shorten the edit. This works best when the video is mostly people talking.

Vidova's agent works on the timeline itself. It transcribes speech when it needs to, and it also reads the picture: it can detect shots and beats, track objects, cut out people and preview frames of its own edit. You can ask for an edit of footage that has no speech at all.
