How to make music for a video with AI

  1. Describe the music

Write the mood, the genre, the instruments and the tempo in BPM. Say what the music is for, such as a product ad or a travel reel. You can also say how it builds, for example a quiet start and then one big drop.

  2. Pick the length and the vocals

A track is 10, 20, 30 or 60 seconds long. Pick Instrumental for music with no singing, or With vocals. The price in credits shows under the description before you start.

  3. Sign in and make it

The tool works with a Vidova account. Choose Make music. The track is made in the cloud and plays on this page when it is ready.

  4. Download it or edit with it

Download the track as an MP3 file. Or choose Put this music under your video, choose your video, and it opens in a new project in the Vidova editor with the music under it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the music original?

Yes. Each track is made new from your description. It is not taken from a music library.

How much does a track cost?

A track uses credits from your Vidova plan, by its length. 10 seconds use 10 credits, 30 seconds use 29 credits and 60 seconds use 57 credits. The tool shows the price before you start.

Why do I need to sign in?

Making music in the cloud costs more than the free tools that run without an account. The tool uses the credits of your Vidova plan, so it needs you to sign in.

How long can a track be?

A track is 10, 20, 30 or 60 seconds long. For a longer video, make a 60-second track, or ask the Vidova agent in the editor to make music that fits the edit.

What should I write in the description?

Write the mood, the genre, the main instruments and the tempo in BPM, for example: upbeat acoustic pop for a coffee shop promo, bright guitar and hand claps, 115 BPM. Say how the music builds if that matters. The music does not place a hit at an exact second you ask for.

Can I put the music under my video?

Yes. Choose Put this music under your video and choose your video. Your video and the track open in a new Vidova project, and the Vidova agent puts the music under the video. You can then trim the music, change its volume and export the video for TikTok, Reels or YouTube.

Can the music have singing?

Yes. Pick With vocals to allow singing. Pick Instrumental for a track with no vocals, which is the usual choice under a voiceover.
