Vocal remover and stem splitter

Drop a song or a video. Vidova splits its sound into four parts: the vocals, the drums, the bass and the other sounds. Play each part and download it.

Drop a song or a video

Up to 10 seconds without signing in: longer files are cut to their first 10 seconds on your device. Signed in, up to 10 minutes.

How to remove the vocals from a song

  1. Add your song

Drop a sound file or a video in the box above. Your browser takes out the sound, and only the sound is uploaded. Without signing in, Vidova splits the first 10 seconds.

  2. Wait for the parts

A stem separation model splits the sound into vocals, drums, bass and everything else. Each part is as long as the song and in time with it.

  3. Listen to each part

Play the vocals to get an a cappella, or play the other parts for an instrumental. Each part plays here in the page.

  4. Download the parts

Download each part as an M4A file. Put the parts in your music app or your video editor, or open the file in the Vidova editor.

Frequently asked questions

Is the vocal remover free?

Yes. Without signing in you can split the first 10 seconds of a file 2 times a day. With a Vidova account, a file can be up to 10 minutes long. Splitting a sound uses no credits.

How do I make an instrumental?

Download the drums, the bass and the other sounds, and play them together. Leave out the vocals. In the Vidova editor you can ask the agent to put the parts under your video without the vocals.

Which parts do I get?

Vocals (singing, speech and chants), drums, bass, and other sounds (the instruments and everything else).

What file type are the parts?

Each part is an M4A file with lossless sound. Most music apps, video editors and browsers play it.

Is my file uploaded?

Only its sound is. Your browser takes the sound out of a video, and the picture stays on your device. A file uploaded without signing in is deleted a day later.
