Question 1

What is Vidova?

Accepted Answer

Vidova is an agentic AI video editor. You describe the video in plain words, and an AI agent edits it on a real timeline: it cuts clips, adds captions, animates titles, imports and generates media, and previews frames of the result. It runs in the browser at vidova.ai, on iPhone and on Mac.

Question 2

Can AI edit my videos for me?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upload your clips and say what you want, for example "a 30-second TikTok cut to the beat, with captions". The Vidova agent makes the edit on a real timeline and checks its work with previews. You can change any cut.

Question 3

Can Vidova make TikToks, Reels and YouTube Shorts?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Ask for a vertical edit and the agent cuts, sizes and captions it for TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts. It also makes horizontal videos for YouTube.

Question 4

Can it cut my clips to the beat of a song?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Vidova finds the beats in your music, and the agent puts cuts, flashes and speed ramps on them. Upload the song with your clips and ask for a beat-synced edit.

Question 5

What is agentic video editing?

Accepted Answer

Agentic video editing means an AI agent does the editing work for you. The agent reads your project, plans the edit, changes the timeline, and checks its own result with previews. You keep every edit and can undo or change any of it.

Question 6

Which agents can edit a Vidova project?

Accepted Answer

The built-in Vidova agent, plus Claude, Cursor, VS Code, Codex and other MCP clients. Add the Vidova MCP server URL, https://mcp.vidova.ai/mcp, in the client you already use.

Question 7

What can the agent change?

Accepted Answer

The agent can read the project, cut and move clips, add captions and titles, import media, generate images, video, voice, music and sound effects, track objects, cut out people, and preview frames.

Question 8

Does Vidova still record the screen?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Vidova recorder captures screen, camera and mic on Mac, Windows and Linux, with automatic zoom on clicks and a cursor-following camera. The recording opens in the agentic editor like any other clip.

Question 9

Does the free plan need a card?

Accepted Answer
