Frequently asked questions
Is the face blur tool free?
Yes. Without signing in you can blur the first 10 seconds of a video 2 times a day, and the video has the Vidova mark. With a Vidova account, a video can be up to 10 minutes long and uses the credits of your plan.
How many faces does it blur?
It blurs up to 12 faces, the ones seen the longest. A face that shows for a moment only, or that is too small or unclear to follow, can be left out, so check the video before you post it.
Does the blur follow a face that moves?
Yes. Each blur follows the box of its face on every frame, and it grows a little past the face so the edges stay covered when the person turns.
Is my video uploaded?
Yes. Face tracking runs in the cloud, so the video is uploaded. A video uploaded without signing in is deleted a day later.
What quality is the video?
Without signing in and on the Free plan, the video is 720p with the Vidova mark. Paid plans export at 1080p without the mark.
Can I blur only one face?
Open the video in the editor and ask the agent, for example: blur only the man in the blue shirt. The agent tracks the faces and puts a blur on the ones you name.
