InShot on Mac and PC
We found no InShot desktop app. Its website links only to the App Store, Google Play and Huawei AppGallery. On a Mac, the App Store listing says the iPad app runs on macOS 13 or later with an Apple M1 chip or later, so Intel Macs cannot run it. We found no Windows app and no web version.
Vidova runs in the browser on Mac, Windows and Linux, so a PC or an Intel Mac works. Its desktop app for Mac, Windows and Linux records your screen and edits locally. On a phone, Vidova works in the browser. There is no Android app, and on Android Vidova works in the phone browser.
Editing by hand or with an agent
InShot is a manual editor. You trim and split clips, set speed curves and keyframes, layer picture-in-picture videos, key out green screens, and add text, stickers, music and effects yourself. Its AI tools each do one job: auto captions, AI Cut for silences and filler words, background removal, voice enhance and text to speech. InShot exports up to 4K at 60 fps.
Vidova's agent makes the whole edit from a request, for example "cut these clips into a 20-second Reel on the beat of this song, with captions". It cuts, arranges and captions the clips on a multitrack timeline, then previews frames and runs a quality check. You can trim and move every clip by hand. Vidova is built around the agent, so if you want to drag every clip yourself on a phone, InShot's manual tools are more mature.
