Scenes from a script or a timeline from your clips
Pictory builds a video as a list of scenes. Each scene has story text that the AI voice reads, a visual from stock media, AI or your uploads, and captions that follow the narration. You can start from an idea, a script, a web page, a PDF, a PowerPoint deck, an audio file or a recording.
Pictory 3, its AI video agent, asks setup questions about the voiceover, visual sources, aspect ratio, layout and brand kit. It writes the script and scenes, builds a preview, and then takes changes by chat or in the scene editor. The editor's timeline shows scene thumbnails in order.
Vidova's agent works on a multitrack timeline. It cuts, trims, captions and arranges your own clips, cuts on the beat, tracks faces and objects, and previews frames of its work before it reports back. Vidova suits footage you filmed. Pictory suits videos built from text.
