AI screen recorder with automatic editing

Vidova is an AI screen recorder for Mac and Windows. It records screen, camera, and mic, then zooms, removes filler, and adds captions and chapters.

Vidova is an AI screen recorder for Mac and Windows: a desktop app that captures screen, camera, and microphone, then automatically edits the recording. The AI work is editing labor you would otherwise do by hand. It is not a model that writes a script or generates a fake product UI.

What Vidova automates

  • Automatic zoom: click-cluster punch-ins and cursor-following camera paths. See the auto zoom page.
  • Silence and filler removal: gaps and disfluencies are found from the transcript, not from a blunt volume threshold.
  • Captions: speech becomes on-screen captions you can correct.
  • Chapters: the walkthrough is split into titled sections.

You can also import a recording you already have and run the same cleanup. Rendering and export stay on your computer. Speech, captions, and chapters use hosted jobs with quotas. Vidova does not train models on your videos.

What stays manual on purpose

Story, pacing, and what you say are still yours. Automatic zoom will not save a demo that never shows the product. Automatic cuts will not invent a better explanation. The timeline is there so you can reject a bad pause cut or a zoom that landed on the wrong panel.

Who this is for

Product teams recording SaaS demos, educators recording software tutorials, and anyone who wants a polished walkthrough without sitting in a traditional NLE for every click zoom. If you need a meeting recorder with attendee gallery and speaker view, that is a different category.

Vidova records on Mac and Windows, then automatically adds zooms, cleanup, captions, and chapters. You review the timeline before you export.

Questions people ask

What does AI screen recorder mean in Vidova?
Vidova records your screen, then runs automatic editing jobs: zoom placement, filler and pause removal from a transcript, captions, and chapters. You review every edit. It is not a text-to-video generator and it does not invent footage.
Does the AI replace the editor?
No. Automatic edits land on a timeline. You can keep, change, or undo them. Export is local. Hosted speech jobs have quotas. Local editing does not.
