A flat zoom scales pixels. A 3D zoom re-projects the frame onto a tilted plane with real perspective. It eases into the enter pose, glides while the shot holds, then eases flat again.
Virtual lens
Pick a focal length from 24mm to 120mm. Short lenses exaggerate depth. Long lenses flatten it.
Enter pose
Tilt, roll, and dolly the frame settles into as the push-in finishes.
Glide pose
A second pose the shot drifts toward while the zoom holds, so the frame keeps moving.
